600 & 700 Fan Giveaway Celebration!

When I first started my fan page, never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd be celebrating these milestones! Thank you to all of the fans who have stuck with me over the years, and thank you to all of the new fans arriving everyday. Welcome aboard!

To celebrate I have expanded my interchangeable earring line. Each winner will get to choose between 14k gold or sterling silver ear wires AND you will get to choose a pair of interchangeable earrings to go with them! To be entered, just leave a comment below this post. For every 50 entries I receive, I will giveaway another pair of interchangeable earrings (100 comments=2 winners, 200 comments=4 winners, etc.)! To be entered into this contest, please leave a message under this post telling me which pair you like the best. The giveaway will begin today 7/15/11 and end when I reach 700 fans at 11:59:59 CST. All winners will be randomly chosen by random.org.

Here are the quick links for everything:

Interchangeable Earring Options

Ear Wire Choices

Here are your ear wire choices. You can choose between 14k gold and sterling silver.

Length: .62"L (16mm)

Autumn Splendor

The gold and copper colors in these earrings made me think of autumn's falling leaves. The beautiful flower is made of vermeil. Then I added a copper thunderpolished Czech glass bead for lots of sparkle. The pink stone is lovely rose quartz.

Length: .47"L (2cm) without the ear wire.

Available in 14k gold only. For a sterling alternate, check out "Briar Rose."

Opal Swarovski

Opals are one of my favorite stones, so I just had to include these as an option. Nice and neutral, you can wear them everything. Perfect for that October birthday girl, too!

Length: .66"L (17mm) without ear wires.

These are available in 14k gold and sterling silver.

Bella Earrings

These pieces were were originally a bracelet! The bracelet had a mix of light and dark red centers. The beautiful red in this set made me think of Twilight's "Bella". They are quite small and dainty.

They are available in 14k gold and sterling silver.

Length: .43"L (11mm)

Briar Rose

This is the sterling alternate to "Autumn Splendor." The bead cap is Tibetan silver, which is lead and nickle free. To give it lots of sparkle I added a silver thunder polished Czech glass bead. The pink stone is lovely rose quartz.

Length: .47"L (2cm)

Available in sterling only. For the 14k gold alternate, see "Autumn Splendor."

Siam Swarovski

Siam is perfect for Christmas and the July birthday girl! These are very sparkly and a perfect match for those medium red or green outfits!

Length: .66"L (17mm) without ear wires.

Available in 14k gold and sterling silver.

Crystal Swarovski

This pair is done in clear crystal and they sparkle like nobody's business! They're perfect for the April birthday girl, too.

I only have these in sterling. I can make them in 14k gold if you wish, but allow 2 weeks for delivery.

Length: .66"L (17mm) not including ear wires

Jonquil Swarovski

Jonquil is like a clear lemon color and it's very pretty. These are full of sparkle and a good match for light purple or light yellow outfits.

Length: .66"L (17mm) without ear wires.

These are only available in sterling. I can make them in 14k gold, but please allow 2 weeks for delivery.

Palace Green Swarovski

A great color for Christmas or even the May birthday girl. Palace Green is an opaque color and it's perfect to match up with your medium red or green outfits.

Length: .66"L (17mm) without ear wires.

Available in 14k gold and sterling silver.

Crystal Golden Shadow Swarovski

Crystal Golden Shadow is such a lovely, neutral color. You can wear these with just about any outfit.

These are made in sterling silver only. I can make them in 14k gold if you wish, but allow 2 weeks for delivery.

Length: .66"L (17mm) without ear wires

Dorothy Earrings

These pieces were were originally a bracelet! The bracelet had a mix of light and dark red centers. The beautiful red in this set made me think of Dorothy's ruby slippers, hence the name. They are quite small and dainty.

They are available in 14k gold as well as sterling sliver.

Length: .43"L (11mm)

This auction, running through Friday, June 3, 2011 at 11:59:59 CST, is raising funds to help pay for medical/therapy/prosthesis expenses as well as anything else he may need. Got a pair of words that means something special to you? I'll happily immortalize them with a custom pair of Dictionary Sacrifice earrings.

I hand-build each component of my earrings---they start out as a roll of 19 gauge annealed steel wire and a beat-up 1967 edition of Webster's Unabridged Dictionary. Each one-off pair of Dictionary Sacrifice beads hang from hand-forged earwires, and each earring boasts a tiny, hand-formed ampersand dangle. The metal components are tumbled for shine and durability, and each bead is cut and rolled by yours truly. The beads are sealed with acrylic glaze, but are best kept dry.

The Dictionary Sacrifice earrings measure 2.75" from the top of the earwire to the base of the dangle.

They'll be shipped to you in an upcycled, eco-friendly, earth-loving, handmade, origami box. Which, when you think about it, makes your entire purchase a pretty low-impact affair---especially considering the heads you'll turn while wearing these one-of-a-kind earbobs.
