Custom Earrings

This custom pair of earrings were donated by Wendy from "AlwaysGreener" on Etsy (http://www.etsy.com/shop/alwaysgreener?ref=ss_profile) . You can also find her here https://www.facebook.com/pages/Always-Greener/192180670819526?sk=wall stop on in for a visit!

Got a pair of words that means something special to you? I'll happily immortalize them with a custom pair of Dictionary Sacrifice earrings.

I hand-build each component of my earrings---they start out as a roll of 19 gauge annealed steel wire and a beat-up 1967 edition of Webster's Unabridged Dictionary. Each one-off pair of Dictionary Sacrifice beads hang from hand-forged earwires, and each earring boasts a tiny, hand-formed ampersand dangle. The metal components are tumbled for shine and durability, and each bead is cut and rolled by yours truly. The beads are sealed with acrylic glaze, but are best kept dry.

The Dictionary Sacrifice earrings measure 2.75" from the top of the earwire to the base of the dangle.

They'll be shipped to you in an upcycled, eco-friendly, earth-loving, handmade, origami box. Which, when you think about it, makes your entire purchase a pretty low-impact affair---especially considering the heads you'll turn while wearing these one-of-a-kind earbobs.
